REGALO DE PAPA NOEL

Hoy comenzamos a trabajar en desmontar la yagi de 50 Mhz..
veremos si los próximos días puede estar reacondicionada.



TORMENTA 20-12-12 / SAN JUSTO

Luego de la fuerte tormenta del 20 de diciembre tendremos que comenzar nuevamente
a re acondicionar las antenas.
El dipolo rotativo de bandas WARC se partió al medio


por suerte como se ve la yagi de 20, 15 y 10 mts sorpresivamente se salvo.

Mas atrás se puede ver la Yagi de 6 el para 50 Mhz que se partió al medio
como la de bandas WARC.

Dos nuevos modelos de Icom

En la edición 2012 del Tokyo Ham Fair que se desarrollo este fin de semana 
del 25 y 26 de agosto en Japón.

Icom no para de sorprendernos sacando el ICOM IC-7100 que dice ser 
el sucesor del Icom IC 7000

Nueva apertura para Europa - 05/08/2012

Luego de la primera apertura para EU el día 3 de agosto
hoy 5, nuevamente y en el mismo horario que la primera, se dió
otra apertura para el viejo continente.

Un poco mas corta y con señales no tan fuertes pero muy
entretenida como todas las aperturas en la banda mágica.

Aquí les dejo una imagen de los contactos realizados,
como verán las condiciones fueron mas puntuales y a una
misma dirección.

03/08/2012 Primera apertura para Europa

Comenzó el mes de agosto y ya tuvimos la primera
apertura de la temporada..
A las 18:50 UTC EA8CK Jose ya entraba 59+
La sorpresa fue comenzar a escuchar estaciones
del Norte y centro de Europa, pareciera que la 
apertura de esporádica E multisalto hacia de lo suyo..

Comenzamos una nueva temporada y vino una
nueva entidad, Irlanda, EI7BA Jonn llego a poner S9.

Apertura 50 Mhz 18 de Julio de 2012

El 18 de Julio se dio una interesante y rara apertura en los 50 Mhz.
Lamentablemente me la perdí pero grande fue la sorpresa cuando vi
los spot de mi beacon.

Como ven en temporada baja pero en proximidades al pico del ciclo solar nunca hay que 
descuidar la banda. Esta apertura duro un poco mas de media hora.. cuando me di cuenta
habían pasado 20 minutos del ultimo spot y ya no había mas nada.
El que tuvo suerte y disfrute de buenos contactos fue el amigo Dale CE2/VE7SV.

entraban muy fuertes los americanos entre los contactos locales.

Propagacion en los 50 Mhz Mes x Mes By LU5FF

Hola amigos..
desde que comencé en los 50 Mhz siempre fui realizando apuntes
sobre las distintas aperturas que se me venían dando.

Los spot realizado a los beacons, estaciones de DXs, portadoras de TV
tenían un objetivo que era realizar mis propias estadísticas.

Hoy en día consulto los spot realizados on line y voy sacando conclusiones.

El mito de como funcionaba la  banda magia era todo un tema al momento
de buscar info al respecto.

Encontré mucha info de NA, AS y EU pero no mucho desde SA..
lo típico hay que esperar el solcito para que comience a mover la banda.

Mucha gente se guía por estos parámetros y hace que no prenda la radio
en muchos meses que podrían darse contactos interesantes.

Quiero compartir con Uds. mis apuntes y anotaciones que arme llamado
Propagación en los 50 Mhz Mes x Mes

El mismo esta realizado con los contactos trabajados desde mi estación
desde mi comienzo en noviembre de 2010 hasta la fecha.

Para muchos que se encuentren cerca de mi grid locator le servirá de
referencia.. para otros dentro de argentina no tanto y para las estaciones
de DX le será de mucha utilidad para saber cuales son los mejores meses
para lograr contactos con esta parte de Argentina.

Etherkit Open Source crystal-controlled QRSS CW Beacon




Overview
OpenBeacon is an open source crystal-controlled QRPp beacon transmitter kit which can output a variety of slow-speed modes, including QRSS, DFCW, and Sequential Multi-tone Hellschreiber. It is configured via USB port, so there are no jumpers to set and you can easily adjust all of the operating parameters via command line. Once configuration is complete, OpenBeacon may be removed from the PC and operate stand-alone.

Los 100 pasaron rápidamente.. cuando pensaba que la banda ya no se abriría hasta agosto
hoy por la tarde MM0BSM spoteaba mi beacon en 50055.

Rápidamente coordinamos en el Chat de ON4KST y en algunos llamados
pude trabajar a dos nuevas entidades:

Mis 100 países en 50 Mhz


Hola amigos luego de 1 año y medio de mi primer contacto en los 50 Mhz este 20 de mayo de 2012 comunique el país Nro 100 en la banda mágica.

Realice un pequeño resumen de este año y medio donde cuento un poco mi experiencia, espero le sirva para aquellos que están queriendo iniciarse en los 50 Mhz.

Nueva apertura Europa - 20/05/2012



Hola gente... hace algunos minutos disfrute otra nueva
apertura para Europa.. esta fue la mas corta de todas..
no alcanzo una hora.. esta vez la estaba esperando con la camarita

Grid Locators trabajados en las dos perturas



Nueva apertura para Europa

Si la apertura del día martes había sido buena, la de este jueves 17, no se la imaginan,
fue espectacular, con mas de 220 contactos, nuevas entidades y máxima diversión.
El contacto mas lejano fue con UY5AA a 12954.5 Km




50 Mhz - mi primer apertura con centro de Europa

El martes 15 de mayo, luego de almorzar y presto a irme a dormir la siesta, realice un llamado 
en 50110.6 y sorpresa OM5OA estaba contestando mi llamado, era New One y me desplace
a 50107 y comencé a llamar, el Pile up fue increíble, mas allá que mi recepción no era de la mejor
por el ruido de linea que suelo tener habitualmente, las señales eran lo suficientemente fuerte para
poderlas escuchar.
El día martes finalice con un poco mas de 130 contactos con varias entidades nuevas.
Contacto mas lejano UR5MID con 13192.5 km.

Cambios en el ICOM IC-7700


Al IC-7700 le han cambiado el MOSFET de la unidad PA, ahora en vez de tener dos Mosfet MRF-150 las nuevas unidades vienen de serie con el STAC2942, que entrega los 200W sin problema alguno hasta los 54Mhz.
Rumores de una posible finalización de la fabricación del anterior mosfet ha logrado que Icom decidiese rediseñar una nueva unidad PA para la validez del nuevo DMOS STAC2942F.

The Model 10,000A250A is a self-contained, air-cooled, broadband, completely solid state amplifier designed for applications where instantaneous bandwidth and high gain are required. Push-pull MOSFET circuitry is utilized in all high power stages in the interest of lowering distortion and improving stability.
The Model 10,000A250A is equipped with a Digital Control Panel (DCP) which provides both local and remote control of the amplifier. The DCP uses a 3¾-inch diagonal graphic display, menu assigned softkeys, a single rotary knob, and four dedicated switches (POWER, STANDBY, OPERATE and FAULT/RESET) to offer extensive control and status reporting capability. HRD Software, LLC announces the release of Ham Radio Deluxe 5.20.0.7.


This is the 3rd release of software since W4PC, WA9PIE and K0CHB acquired the rights in November of 2011.


Erik Gawtry KC0WWC and Rick Ruhl W4PC have been coding in tandem for the past few weeks and have created this version with more fixes and some new beta features which will be in version 6. This version 5.20 includes the beta for a contesting interface, a Cabrillo export and support for the Ten-Tec Eagle.

Rick Ruhl, W4PC, said, “We decided to add the new features to give the users a taste of what we’re going to do in 6.0. 6.0 will have many new features which will include FSK support, a new DXCC awards interface, label printing, and the super sweeper in Digital Master. Super Sweeper will allow multiple signals to be decoded in the window formerly referred to as Superbrowser”.

This is the first version compiled with the Visual Studio 2010 compiler. Rick and Erik have been working since version 5.11 to move the program from Visual C++ 6.0.

Nuevo ACOM 1500HF Linear Amplifier



Information was exclusively provided to CQDX.ru by an ACOM.
ACOM1500 is developed on the base of the well known ACOM1000. The tube GU74B has been replaced by 4CX1000A and the power supply is beefed accordingly. The RF power is  up to 1500 W. PEP output on 160 trough 6m Bands. Another improvement is the internal antenna switch with three antenna outputs. The LCD display has been replaced by VFD type. The size is unchanged, only few kgs has been added to the weight.

MAYO 2012- KENWOOD PRESENTARÁ SU NUEVO EQUIPO DE HF


Se habló de ello hace tiempo.. y ahora parece confirmarse. De hecho Kenwood ya ha puesto un anuncio de ello en la última revista de QST.
¿Se llamará KENWOOD JVC TS990 ? Quizás... pero el nombre es lo de menos.
Lo que Kenwood tiene claro es que quieren presentar el sucesor del mítico y todavía bien valorado TS-950SDX.
El precio estaría en unos 4.000€..Su tamaño sería similar al del 950SDX, potencia 200w con HF y 50 mhz.

Primeras experiencias en Rebote Lunar banda de 50 Mhz

Hola amigos, hace unos dos meses vengo leyendo y buscando información
sobre esta modalidad en los 50 Mhz.

Me llamo mucha la atención cuando veía gente que con 100 w pudo lograr
excelentes contactos vía la Luna.

Con pocos elementos no es fácil, pero con una buena antena se podrían lograr
algunos contactos con estaciones grandes.

La falta de potencia nos lleva a instalar antenas largas.. mínimo 6 elementos optimizados..
Con 5 o 6 elementos y con 500 watts la cosa ya cambia y tendríamos un poco mas de
chances..

La mayoría que realiza rebote lunar, tiene como mínimo de 2 a 4 antenas de 8 a 10 elementos
enfasadas y mínimo 1000 w de potencia..

Con estas estaciones es con las que tendríamos que coordinar algún sked para
hacer algunas pruebas..

La modalidad mas común que se utiliza es el JT65A en el rango de frecuencia 50195 a 50195
siendo 50190 la frecuencia central.

Para los que no tenemos la posibilidad de elevar nuestras antenas y solo tenemos azimut
los encuentros se coordinan a partir de los 0 a 20 grs de elevación a la salida de la luna
o desde los 20 a los 0 grs en la puesta. En estas condiciones uno podría lograr algún contacto.

Quiero agradecer por las sugerencias y las pruebas a Fede LU6KK actualmente en USA
W2NNN, la paciencia de Hal N7NW y de Lance W7GJ.

Aquí les dejo mi primera captura vía la luna realizada con Lance W7GJ, señal recibida
a mas de 750.000 Km de distancia.

TEP con Japon 50 Mhz

Las dos ultimas noches 01 y 02 de marzo se vienen 
dando excelentes aperturas para Hawai y Japon.
Aunque las aperturas a Japon todavía no son muy 
extensas, unos 30 minutos, esos minutos se viven con
mucha intensidad por la cantidad de estaciones que
están activas en la banda mágica.
